ERROR - BAD TARGET in MSDN Library Oct 2005
|
|
|
| Does anyone else out there who has installed the October 2005 MSDN Library
from DVD (or CD) see the words ERROR - BAD TARGET Describing the Enterprise
Architectural space like I see after installing? The exact location is
Servers and Enterprise Development, Enterprise Architecture, Patterns, and
Practices, Microsoft Patterns, Technical Articles, Integration Patterns.
When you click on this BAD TARGET in the left side of the two-panel display,
the right side shows this error: The page cannot be displayed. I have
started a case with Microsoft, but was curious if anyone else is also seeing
this error. I have never seen this error before in the 7 years I have been
an MSDN Universal subscriber.

| Per case SRX050923602705 that I opened, Microsoft admits this is a bug in
everyone's copy of the October 2005 MSDN Library. It will be fixed for the
January 2006 MSDN Library release.
