KB incomplete on MSDN library CDs?
|

| Hi,
Is the KB supposed to be complete (at the date the library was compiled)
on the CD/DVD version of the MSDN library?
e.g. the article 327763 can be found on the web version, but when I
search for it on my July 2005 CD version it is not found.

| I think it's mainly because it's an older article dealing with Office 2000.
You'll find the complementary ones for Office XP and 2003 though.
Hope this helps

That's what I'm trying to establish. If what you say is correct, it
means the KB (as supplied to MSDN subscribers) is INCOMPLETE. I didn't
see anything in the library documentation that clarifies these
shortcomings. What if they take out MS-DOS because it's "old"? That will
mean important articles related to system programming, real mode
networking, and low-level BIOS interaction will be missing.
