MSDN Upgrade pricing
|
|
|
| Hi,
Am currently trying to purchase MSDN subscription; according to the FAQs,
Microsoft Certified Professionals (I'm MCSD) should be able to qualify for
upgrade pricing
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscript...t.aspx#upgrades).
Anyone any idea how I do this? I've contacted MS support, who keep telling
me that they'll get back to me (and a month and several e-mails month,
haven't!)...anyone any ideas?
All help appreciated!
Dave

| Just go here http://msdn.microsoft.com/howtobuy/...ibers/purchase/ and
choose "Buy directly from microsoft"
From there, you can just do new subscription, and somewhere along the line
it will ask you if you qualify for upgrage pricing. MCP is one of the items
listed.
The only reason I know this is I just did this today, and was expecting to
pay full price!

| Thanks Matthew - I've tried directly from Microsoft, but by the time I've
got to the screen where I'm being asked to confirm my order, I've still not
been asked for my MCP number!
I'm not too keen on pushing the button just yet - did you get prompted for
your MCP number before you got to the confirmation screen?
Cheers,
Dave
