MSDN - plotting street addresses in mappoint

I have an excel file with hundreds of cutomers with street addresses. In my
excel file I have the STREET#, STREET, and wether the street is NSEW in
seperate collums. I do it this way in excel so I can sort by the street.
When I try linking it to mappoint it does not plot them accurately, and it
doesnt recognize if the street is Nort, South, East, or West. Can any one
tell me how to link this so it will do this all correctly.
