| Does anyone know how to download sections of the MSDN library?
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/). In particular, I want to get the Web
Development section.
Thanks

The easiest way to get it is to buy an MSDN Library subscription. You
get the entire library delivered to you 4 times per year for $99 a
year (upgrade price, which applies to anyone who bought a Visual
Studio product). Check out
http://msdn.microsoft.com/howtobuy/...rs/msdnlibrary/

| Thanks for the info, but I don't have much of a budget. (Not any at all,
really.) Is there a way to get it for free?
Thanks

| Not easily. Though the MSDN library is different from other MS
products in that you can share it freely within an organisation. So
buying just one copy is enough for any number of developers within the
organisation. If you're a lone developer, though, that won't be of
much help.
Have you tried tools which are designed to download websites for
offline viewing? I know there are such tools, though I haven't used
any in recent years, so can't tell you more than "try to google them."

| Hi Daniel,
You can dowload for free all or "part" of the Platform SDK (which contains
the Web Dev IE SDK piece) from our web install page at:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...&DisplayLang=en
Choose the "Custom" installation type and pick the components you want to
download and install.
Hope this helps.
