| I will ask the PM who is in charge of the MSDN download server if he knows
if there have been any issues and post back here with the results.

Are they talking about the "Background Intelligent Transfer Service"
(BITS) or something completely different? It's just I noticed an odd
error related to BITS on a home user's computer this w - an error
I've never seen before.
If it's related to BITS, I'd suggest they check their Event logs.

| MSDN Subscriber Downloads uses the File Transfer Manager application, rather
than BITS. I've been gone for the last three w s, but haven't seen any
systemic outages during that time on our end. I'd recommend going back to
the site and starting a Contact Us escalation - these get very quickly
routed to the Ops teams in charge of the download servers; they should be
able to help get this working for you.
