I have several posts into the MSDN Managed News groups for assistance that
have been there for many days without a response.
Microsoft said:
"Microsoft will assure that you receive a response to your posts within 2
business days. This services is included as a benefit of your active
subscription. "

Why is this not happening?
When will I get a response?
Who can I complain to about this?

You must register a special nickname and wait a few days until that nickname
has been entered into the MSDN system. Go to the download section of MSDN
subscriber and search for the phrase:

« ... You can get started by registering here. »

that you will find in the section «Get Unlimited Free PSS Support for
Technical Issues! ... »

Click on the word « here » and register your nickname. Before starting to
send managed posts, it might be a good idea to create a second account that
you will use exclusively for that occasion.

I don't see how anybody is going to be able to answer your question about
your computer 'automatically' changing case on you. Does it happen in
notepad? Have you altered your system's accessibility settings at all? Have
you set any accessibility features in Visual Studio?

Yes, the problem also happens in Notepad. I have not changed any of the
accessibility settings and I checked and none of them seemed to be activated.

If I were you, I'd look for a peer group for your computer and ask there.
Dell has some pretty active forums and so does the thinkpad community.

Me too - not sure I've ever had a technical support query solved via
Microsoft via this group.

Cheers, Rob.
