help - renewing product keys

My MSDN subscription expired January 2004.
Due to various betas and so on I have blasted my machine quite often
and so now i am getting told i can't use the product key I last got on
MSDN online.

Is it possible that I can call one of the manual renewal numbers and
get a new key, eventhough my subscrption has expired? If so what info
do i need (i have my MSDN subscription card next to me).
