Jan 2004 Lib was installed on c:. I can't figure out how to adjust the icon

If you installed July 2004, it should have added an icon to your Start Menu
Programs folder under "Microsoft Developer Network" named "MSDN Library -
July 2004" which you can copy to your desktop.

The target itself does not point to the drive where the collection was
installed. It should point to the location of the shared help viewer, which
will be located under the path indicated by your CommonProgramFiles
environment variable.

If the viewer cannot find the collection, then it was not properly installed
and registered with the viewer. In that case, the icon is not your problem.

Ronny --

Thanks. I found it, as you describe in paragraph 1.
