MSDN won't let us sign in using the passport account we have always,
_always_ used - it insists about some business about "this passport" not
associated.

What is going on? We pay good money for this subscription - I know the
account is valid, I was even assigned the current anti-spam alias I am using
in order to get the newsgroup support?

Why can't I use my subscription?

Richard

When a subscription expires, the Passport account used for MSDN Subscriber
Downloads is automatically dis-associated from the account. This is a
common cause of this issue. If your subscription was renewed we don't
dis-associate the Passport, however, if you get a new subscription without
renewing your old one, then we do. If your subscription is current, try
re-associating your Passport with it from the
http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/downloads page.

OK - I really need some help here. The people I'm calling at the 1-800
number are scripted and unhelpful.

We purchased another three years in May. I have the invoice. I have the
volume license agreement number. I don't know anything about this "notices
contact" business the register.one.microsoft.com site talks about.

We've paid for our renewal. Can someone help me extract the value we should
be getting for our paid subscription? A live human being who won't throw me
at some website that won't work or give me some gibberish that gets the
monkey off their back?

Who can I talk to?
