Author Office 2000 Developer download on MSDN?

I have a subscription to MSDN, and am trying to download Office 2000
Developer, so that I can install it to create a run-time distributable
version of an Access 2000 application.

I can't find a download of Office 2000 Developer anywhere on MSDN. (I
can find the Service Releases, but not the original package.) Can
anybody direct me to it if one exists?

Thanks for your help.

It's not there: they removed it several months ago.

If you're going to package the app with its own runtime, why do you
specifically need the 2000 version?

In general, Access 2000 apps can run as-is or with very little modification
under Access 2002 or 2003. Therefore, you can simply use the Access 2002
runtime from Office XP Developer or the Access 2003 runtime from Access 2003
Developer Extensions.

The Office 2000 download was removed because the Office 2000 CD contained a
version of IE which bundled Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine. Despite
Microsoft's settlement with Sun, the old won't be coming back. If you really
feel that you need it and you didn't retain your MSDN physical media
(assuming you were a subscriber when Office 2000 was still current), then
your best bet is to find a copy being sold on eBay.

Withdrawn as part of the MS response to the Java legal settlement.

Can't find the statement or URL anymore.

O2K Dev included IE, which included the MS Java virtual machine, so....

the runtime minimum, which did NOT include IE, is still available.
