I signed up for the Australian version about 3-4 w s ago.
Haven't heard a thing back from them and the site stills says my membership
is "Pending approval".
Has anybody been approved for the australian one yet?
Chris.

| Hi,
I tried to sign up to MSDN Connection yesterday. I've found a couple
of problems myself..
1. The registration is a little strange (I used an existing passport)
but it didn't go totally 'smoothly' - leading me to think other things
went wrong.
2. I received no confirmation or any kind of email to say 'we've
registered you' or 'We're looking at your registration'.
The site seems to recognise me but shows no information for 'my
menbership details'.
I then tried with a 'new' passport - just out of curiosity and same
situation occurred.
I think whoever's running this should maybe provide a little more
information on the 'process' of membership if it's not an immediate
thing!! There doesn't appear to be a 'help' email address.
Maybe the free ASP.NET hosting isn't something that can 'actually' be
delivered!
I hope to hear something soon!
Cheers,
Matt Simner

| Yeah it does seem very disorganised, I can login now but all the sections
are blank.
The ASP.Net hosting was the major thing I was looking out for.
Chris.

| Actually, I just received my email saying my membership has been approved.
The only "award" mentioned on the website is the HT discount, nothing about
the ASp.Net hosting which is dissapointing. Although it does say I will
receive a pack in 6 w s so maybe that will have something in it?
Chris.
