I had MSDN onVS6 and W2k and had problems using the MSDN through the help
menu. Finally gave up trying to get it to work as most of my work is Office
Dev anyway.

Now trying to upgrade to Office2003 and VS2003.NET with MSDN subscription on
XP Pro with Office tools.

So far I have installed the prerequisites, VS2003.Net and then MSDN.

After serveral hours the help menu opens a popup that says that the required
MSDN files are not loaded and after Ok is selected the MSDN opens just fine.
God help me it can't be that dificult to use the MSDN.

I see I'm not alone but haven't found the solution yet. It appears there is
no MSDN key in the VS7 registry entrys.

They need to put a warning in MSDN that Jan 2003 doesn't work with the help
menu by design even though the ship it together.
I would have thought that the latest version would be shipped with VS.net
2003.
