I'm looking for a reseller that will sell a U.S. buyer an MSDN Australian
Subscription? The purchase will be placed in U.S., but the MSDN Product
will be shipped to Australia. The price must be cheaper than MS current
prices also. Please let me know.

Can't you just buy a US subscription and have the shipping address set to
Australia, and presumably the shipments would automatically be sent from
Singapore in effect giving you an Australian subscription.

And as far as I can tell the only difference between US and Australian
Universal Subscriptions is that we don't get MapPoint 2004 on CD (but we can
download it).

Thanks, Chris. I wish it were that simple. Although I haven't tried your
suggestion, I don't think it can work like that. For instance, once you
have U.S. Subscription activated to be sent to U.S., there's no way to
change the address information to have it sent to Australia or any other
country other than Canada. If you know different, please let me know.

Fair enough then, I do know we got our subscription through the partner
program.

I am not aware of any of those "discount" msdn resellers selling an
"Australian" version directly, perhaps you could search for a supplier
selling the "Asia Pacific" version?

The other option is to get your US person to buy it from an Australian
reseller directly. Places like Harris Technology (http://www.ht.com.au) sell
the Australian version over the net (and obviously would ship to
Australia) - but of course they aren't very cheap compared to those discount
people (http://www.ht.com.au/Scripts/xworks.exe?PART:D1749#Tof)
