Anyone know if an MSDN subscription bought in the US will work in the
UK? Is there any difference between the UK and US software and if you
register a US subscription in the UK do you get UK software?

I don't think that's possible. MSDN US and MSDN Europe are run by different
subscription centres, and MSDN US will not deliver to any European address
(except maybe Armed Forces Europe military addresses).

As to the actual software, that's the same AFAIK.

I think that the English language software you get will be the same.
Only exception I can think of is MapPoint. Additional languages may be
different.

You might want to contact the MSDN service and ask. See
http://microsoft.eu.subservices.com/msdn/contact.asp.

You cannot buy a subscription in the US and activate it or transfer it to
the UK You would have to get a refund on the US subscription and buy another
one in the UK.
