I found a bug in the .NET 2003 C++ compiler, but am getting
stonewalled trying to get any help. Is there a way to get any support
at all from Microsoft? Do they even care about significant compiler
bugs?

Quantum,

Try this link you can file bugs and the product you file against will
almost surely take a look at it...or it might be a known issue.
