Author Running VB script following reboot

I have written a VBscript that initiates a reboot. This reboot is
required to install the second phase of the software.

Following this reboot I am looking to run another VBscript thats
progress is tracked using IE for the local admin to view.

My question is - can I use the run key in the registry to run an
interactive script or should I use runonce and then delete the key?

Your input will be greatly appreciated

check the runonce key in the registry or use scheduled tasks
