| Hi ya all!
I have this setup package i made with VB6 and CR8.5. During installation, I
found that crviewer.dll V9.2 already exists. There's a msgbox showing the
situation and asking me to choose between the existing (Vs.9.2) and the
Setup's (Vs. 8.5).
How should I proceed?
Thanks,
Carlos

Anything dealing with Crystal Reports is a 'crap-shoot'. Now is as good a
time to get into to free-wheeling, devil-may-care, spirit that is Crystal
Reports. My first advice is to close your eyes and just click - results will
be an adventure with either selection.
Or always chose the newest component when every replacing components.

| you must have had CR 9.x installed on your box at some point in time and the
uninstall left some files behind. I doubt if the 9.2 viewer is going to work
with 8.5. I would overwrite the 9.2 with the 8.5 installation files so that
all libraries are at the same version.
