Author Custom Taskbar and shell

Just a quick question. I'm writing a custom shell for a software product.
The reason I'm doing this is its easier to just give the user the functions
I want to give them than disableing everything in the explorer shell. The
only thing I need to get working right is the taskbar. I want it to look
just about like the regular taskbar in windows. The part I cant figure out
yet is how to get it to pick up the icons for the running processes that
appear next to the clock. I'm writing the shell in vb6, so if anyone has
some ideas or code that can do this I'd apreciate it.

Thanks

TH
