Author activex control will not display for win2k

I originally designed an ocx using VB6 on my development pc using Win2k. I
could insert the control into my webpage and all win2k and xp machines could
see and use it. I have since migrated my development pc to winxp. I have
made updates to my control and republished to my webserver but now only XP
machines can see it...win2k machines cannot...does anyone know why?
