Installshield Install issue

| Anyone ever have this issue before?
Problem:
I can distribute dotnetfx.exe in a single exe with no issue. However
when I use the option to download the dotnetfx.exe from a network
location the package fails.
I have the redistributable package on a local ftp server and the
installshield finds it with no issues.
The .net framwork Starts downloading and the progressbar hits 100%
complete. Then the user sees the .net framework interface for a split
second, and then it disappears. Then, my application loads in with no
issues.
When I go to the add/remove programs, .net is not listed.
I go to windows update, download the framework, and all works fine.
Anyone else having this issue?

you can stop right there.
This is a newsgroup for "Classic" VB.
if you want to reach a greater number of folks who know dotnet and like to help,
try newsgroups with "dotnet" in their names.
There's a few such folks here, who use both; but only a few, and you can be
pretty sure you could still reach them if you post 'over there'

| You'll need to find a .Net group. People 'round here are running VB1-6.
..Net groups all contain either "dotnet" or "vsnet" in their names.
