Author Keyboard Handling

As far as I can tell there is no simple way to replicate the function of a keyboard in C#. In other words, I expect I will need to write a class to handle typing in the same way that, for example, Microsoft Word handles it.

Or have I missed something blindingly obvious?

I'm happy to make my own - I like a challenge - but I'm relatively new to C# so perhaps you could point me in the direction of some things I may find useful.

Thanks a lot!
