hooking the keyboard for IE window alone

Hi all,
I have developed a global low level keyboard hook which logs info on
all the keys that are pressed.Now i want to modify this such that the
keys are logged only when IE windows is in focus. What kind of hook
should i use for this? will it b a thread or global hook? What are the
different actions that should be checked?

Please help me.I am lost searching for this.
Hopefully someone can help me .
