Disappearing buttons

I hjave just got back from lunch and all my custom buttons have disappeared
throughout the whole project. The machine was left idle for about an hour
and this isnt the first time it has happened. The instances of the objects
are all created in memory but all the code for the custom buttons in the
InitializeComponent() part has just disappeared.

Is there a way to stop this happening as a couple of us spent a couple of
hours getting the layout of our window pixel perfect ready for release and
then developer studio goes through and deletes it all.
