Please accept my sincere apology for any offence caused by submitting "Spam"
to your newsgroup Mike. You people have helped me and I thought that I could
also help you! Bank charges are an evil scourge on poor innocent people from
all over. I honestly thought that no one would object to this?
Please accept my sincere apology, I would like to offer to place a link or
add to your news group on the main page of the site.
Should you wish to accept I would be most grateful?

You are clearly in earnest, so I suggest we move on. But before we do,
consider how you feel about all those people who thought they would
"help" you on a daily basis by filling your email inbox with offers for
pharmaceuticals, software, email marketing lists, loans etc, etc.
It's not *my* newsgroup. It doesn't belong to anyone. And as far as I
know, no one needs permission to place links to external sites on their
own web site.

I am not sure what link to place on my site to this group ?
Should it be microsoft.public.inetserver.asp.general
Or should it be http://www.ureader.com/group/522-1.aspx
Either way I would like to show my sincere apology to the whole group.

How about :
nntp://microsoft.public.inetserver.asp.general
That link should open whatever the user has chosen as their default
newsreader.

Thanks Ron, I have now included that link in the top right corner of the
main page on my site (not the index page but the second page, probably the
focal point). It will remain as long as this group exists or as long as my
site remains online in my name.
Thanks to everyone for your understanding.
Regards
Malcolm
