Can LDAP API be used either from VB or VBScript ?

We need to use LDAP in conjunction with our ASP pages. Are there LDAP API
that can be used either from VB or VBScript ? Where can I find sample codes
for it ? Thank you very much.

What do I need to install on our server here to be able to use LDAP ?
How about ADSI ?
Where is the LDAP or ADSI newsgroup ?
