Hi,
Can any one tell me how to install an RPM package other than in the
default directory [relocate and prefix option doesnt work in 99.9%]

How to install cpio package in a different directory other than in the
default directory.

rpm2cpio glibc-2.3.2-101.i686.rpm | cpio --extract --make-directories
should extract it into the current directory.
