I see. Although I still will be concerned with a digital (has/hasn't)
classification may bring criticism between advocates of each editor.

It seems a nice idea to have for start a table with all this information
collected and checked by the editor issuers. Then create a tool to help
a prospective user to find out a suited editor.

Yes. So probably during the early stages of the application it would be
wise to suggest the user to check for download the data _or_ better to
have the application run in a web page (which could after the user
select his/her choice click in link provided by the app for downloading
of the editor).
