I'm not sure this is a good idea. What I do is a mix of tablelist
config, BWidget configs, and custom widgets. It's useful for me because
I can keep the stuff reasonably updated with Mac interface fashions, and
I also will abstract them enough to release as packges for others who
really want to fine-tune the Mac look of their programs. But the
existing defaults are, for the most part, "good enough" for people
focusing on cross-platform apps.
