That part was well-meant, obviously, and in another context could have
been very useful. But when the question is about running Tcl on a Cisco
router, neither Expect nor Tk are likely to be part of the answer.
However well-meant your original response was, I too found your followup
post to be rather off-putting:

Working example code is one of the best resources *I* know of for
learning Tcl. Deriving solutions is fine if you already know how the
language works and what it is capable of, but think I'd be a little
stung if I were a complete newcomer and saw someone scolding another
person for helping me.
