| The IO Anywhere Library open source project
(http://www.allstream.net/~fcsoft/ioanywhere) is the home to the public
domain code for the API into an amazing network appliance produced by the
IO Anywhere company (http://www.io-anywhere.ca).
There is both a C and Tcl/Tk library which embraces this rich API.
Recently, the IOA Library project introduced a bridge library which will
allow Tcl/Tk scripts running on Windows seemless access to this API.
There are several pieces of demo code under the Windows HowTo link on the
project site link above.
One of those demos is identical to a little piece of Linux Tcl/Tk code
which my iCanProgram students use in one of the lessons in the online
Intro to Linux Programming course. I've temporarily placed this lesson
material back up at:
http://www.icanprogram.com/36ux/lesson12/lesson12.html
for your perusal ... mostly because it has some photos of the online
experimental setup which the above demo (demo4) exercises.
Have fun.

PS.
Unfortunately, I have no financial stake in the IO Anywhere product or
company ... I just think it is a pretty device ... with a Tcl/Tk
API to boot.
