clock scan "last saturday" in java?

Anyone know if there is something that does date math like the clock
scan, as in:

clock scan "last saturday"

and all its othe variations for java. I tried Jacl, but it does not
seem to work. (last anyway)

This would be a nice little(?) project for someone to do. Take the jacl
clock code and strip it out of tcl/jacl fix it up and make it work as a
stand alone library.
