Author has anyone fixed BWidget tree's "see" command?

The BWidget tree's "see" command isn't quite working right for me. It
seems to base its calculation on the midline of a node, which means it's
possible that "see" will make the midline visible but the top or bottom
slighly chopped off. Indeed, that is what I'm seeing.

Not only that, but it doesn't have the convenient feature of the
standard listbox where if an item is "far away" it centers it rather
than just barely making it visible.

Before I waste too much time tweaking the BWidgets code I figured I'd
ask if anyone else has already tackled this problem.

So, anyone out there with a reimplementation of the see command that
they are willing to share?
