VW ImageReader subclass for mpeg2 and avi files

Has anyone come across code to extract Image instances from mpeg or avi
files in VW
7.3.1? Is ImageReader is the best starting point? Is there design
doco for ImageReader I could use to roll my own? Any help much appreciated.

Not an imageReader per se but if you look at JUN you will find code
that will allow you to view mpegs basically via a wrap of QuickTime.
The viewer with some minor tweaking can be embedded in a VisualWorks
Smalltalk appModel.
