Hi,

We just install a fresh new linux server with Visualwork for a web
application.

We have a Sun Solaris with Oracle version 8.

I am new with VisualWoks and database acces and I am wondering what I need
to access to database on the Linux server. Do I need Oracle Client? Or I
may be able to connect to the database with Visualwork alone? Maybe I need
something else to make the connection?

Thanks for any help,
Michel

You need the Oracle client.
