[VW72nc] BOSS Syntax Error Unknown Character

| BOSS in VW7.2nc is not reading some old bos files. The error message
is
Syntax Error Unknown Character.
The same old bos file can be read in VW7.1nc. If I boss out in 7.1 the
old bos object, then 7.2 can read the new boss.
Is there a patch?
All the best,
Koh

| That doesn't sound like a known problem, but it would be easier to tell
with more information (e.g. at least part of the stack). An example BOSS
file would probably be even more helpful.

| I have put the old boss at
http://www.askoh.com/misc/arm.zip
It was created with VW3.0.
I can open it with my application freecad8 at
http://www.askoh.com/freecad
which was created with VW7.1.
I cannot open it with my application CADSM1 at
http://www.cadsm.com/cadsm
which was created with VW7.2.
If I ask freecad8 to save it, then CADSM1 can read the new version.
Thanks for your attention
Koh
