I'm not clear how you want to use the AspectAdaptor here. Within the
TabControl, you are selecting the subcanvas, which doesn't need that
much mechanism. Even in Pollock, for which I have a better example of
application switching, a simple ObservedValue (rough equivalent of
ValueModel) is sufficient, though a lot of things are different in Pollock
at this point.
So, a couple more details, and maybe I can offer you an interesting
example.
