Hi,

I just set up a Windows XP machine with SP2 and tried to run
our visualworks application on it. I got the following message:

"Unable to set feasible timer!
..\src\ext\exTimer.c 220"

and then VisualWorks crashes.

Does anyone know what this is?

Please send reply to my e-mail address as well.

An update on this subject:

I was running 7.1, not 7.0.

The application was a server that communicates with clients using SSL.

The application did not crash, but did popup a dialogue with the
mentioned message and "click Ok to continue, Cancel to debug". When
Cancel was pressed, the application was terminated.

I upgraded to 7.2 and the problem does not occur anymore, so from now
on I will stick to 7.2.
