As most of you probably know, UC Berkeley makes its semesterly
teaching of it's "Structure and Interpretation of Computer
Programs" (CS61A) course available to the public at:
http://webcast.berkeley.edu/courses.php

These lectures are excellent (I learned so much from them before
stepping foot on campus).

There's now yet another option for watching 61A lectures, see:
http://wla.berkeley.edu/main.php?course=cs61a
These are the "Weiner Lecture Archives," named after Larry Weiner who
provided the funding.

At this site, all of the subjects and examples are hierarchically
organized, so that it's easy to find specific subjects. Also, there is
a search box provided to see all of the places topic foo (or whatever)
is addressed. Finally, in the current version of RealPlayer (though
not the current beta, yet), synchronized course notes appear
automatically while watching the lecture.

And it's all free :-).

Credit: Brian Harvey and I worked together on organizing the topics,
and I indexed them so that the correct video segment and notes appear
under each topic.

Thanks for posting this. Now if the videos were only in a more
friendly format :( RealAudio kind of stinks on Linux - "unsupported
document" errors, etc. Hopefully I can get it to work on the Mac mini
when my wife is done with it...
