Some of you might find these links interesting:

While the dust slowly settles after the D-Wave System's presentation
of "the first commercial quantum computer" few days ago:
Geordie Rose of D-wave Systems (his blog here: http://dwave.wordpress.com/)
responds to some criticism on the "Shtetl-Optimized" blog of Scott
Aaronson from University of Waterloo (http://scottaaronson.com/blog/?
p=201#comments).

The participants of that discussion refer to several really good
remarks from big boys of Quantum Computing (Deutsch, Lloyd), as well
as to some extremely bad media interviews, such a CNN interview with
some (randomly chosen?) programmer.
