Have you actually built an app for which you're asking a question
about, or is this a hypothetical question?

Why would he build the app until he knew the answer?
Seems dangerous to start building. (-:

| I am not a lawyer, but my take on this is: yes, as long as you abide by
the LGPL license: if you modify LGPLed software, you must make those
modifications available in source code form.
I would say that if you are using MzScheme and LGPLed libraries as-is,
you are probably OK.
The PLT team is very approachable and helpful - put your mind at ease
and tell them what you want to do - a one line email from them saying
"go for it" might make you feel better.
Chichen Scheme http://www.call-with-current-continuation.org/ is BSD
licensed (but some 3rd party libraries are GPLed).
One problem with Scheme is that there are too many great
implementations :-)

The answer is yes.
You can probably ask the PLT guys on the PLT mailinglist
for more specific answers.
