While we're chearleading, the divantage of PLT in my opinion is that
one needs to use PLT as the webserver. This doesn't integrate well into
existing infrastructures where admins are used to managing many Apache
boxen. SISC on the otherhand dovetails into well known J2EE
environments, giving you modal webservers (continuation based) and
access to all the hard work others have done writing J2EE and Java
libraries.
