Yes. And this is no different than a long thread in *any* newsgroup. *All*
long threads go off-topic. In fact, being on-topic in *one* newsgroup is
only an intermediate stage. Eventually, it'll be on-topic in *no groups
whatsoever*.

Usenet is anarchy. People should either get over it, or switch to moderated
forums. It's just not a good place for the control freaks of the world. It
offers continuous stress and aggravation. It is like life: messy!
