Dear bigdaddyg,

If this issue remains unresolved and it is important for you to solve
it, try to use the service of VMDD_TECH.

For your information, we have been providing nearly infinite growth
path
for a medium-size PB 7 application that does NOT have source code.

Thanks,

PQB

Subject: Pb 7.0 application vanishing act

work for the NY State Unified Court System. We have an existing Pb
7.0 application
which has been running for several years. Recently I switched my Dell
box for a HP box.
This forced me to re-create my entire c: drive.

The applic. connects to two databases. First connects to Oracle and
second connects
to Sybase. The problem comes when running the .exe file during the
Sybase connect. Immediately after the connect is issued (to Sybase)
the entire application disappears.
When trying to run via the Pb painter run button, all is well.

I am able to ping the Sybase db via dsedit.

This problem is driving up nuts !! Any ideas would be very welcome.

Thank you !
