Create Complex Data-Driven Tablet PCs, Desktop, and Mobile Applications


The new release of Sybase PowerBuilder is now available for download at
http://www.sybase.com/powerbuilder.

The 10.2 release provides a higher level of developer productivity with
support for J2EE and Microsoft .NET through tight integration of
design, modeling, development, deployment, and management. New
capabilities in PowerBuilder include:

** Superior INK Controls Support --- Build complex data-driven
applications with handwriting recognition
** Microsoft .NET Support -- Simplified access to .NET data and
complex database operations with PowerBuilder ADO.NET interfaces
** Support for Microsoft's Active Accessibility Interface --
Easily build applications for users with disabilities
** XML Web DataWindow with Unicode Support -- Re-architected and
fine-tuned DataWindow provides greater performance, scalability, and
extensibility.
** Application Refactoring and Object Modeling -- Extend and
reverse engineer existing applications in different architectures with
a plug-in for PowerDesigner, Sybase's market leading enterprise
modeling tool.
** MobileLink for Mobile Users--- Data synchronization technology
allows "occasional connected" applications for mobile users will
work just like simple Web or desktop applications.
