Recently, "Bill" who has a cable account with
ATT-COMCAST, IP = 67.174.230.46, visited my content-rich
application (ie, web site), and left a comment to indicate
that my web-site is too simple.

A web-site is like an application. An application can
be thin or thick, GUI-rich or not. In my opinion, simplicity
is beautiful. As long as my application conveys what I want
to convey, I keep it simple. This benefits you (visitors) too
in a sense that your browser does not have to retrieve
dozens of graphic files, cookies, which will contribute to
wear-and-tear, cluttering to your disk drive.

Simple applications can be powerful too. sockSvr is
simple, but it has many powerful features. For example,
sockSvr can tell where visitors come from, so that I can
rely on that information to customize my messages. For
example, "Bill" left an unreachable email address, but
thanks to sockSvr, I can pretty tell where "Bill" came
from.

I practice honesty and compassion. I don't hype as a typical salesman
does. Nor do I try to sell what you don't need.
I know free, open-sourced web-servers like apache, Tomcat,
and I am willing to point that information to you. I know
what they can do and can not do. I know what sockSvr can and
can not do. But, I know what sockSvr has but all (or most of)
other webservers do NOT have is that my sockSvr is compact,
simple, and powerful.
