Author Data not Displaying in a DataWindow in Citrix

We have a system that displays application launch time in the
interface.

The time is displayed in a datawindow that is populated by data
returned from a SQL Server database via a SP. The sp is a "one liner":
SELECT GETDATE().

In a Citrix environment the date/time does not display. As far as I
know there is no other location where data is not displaying properly.

We would appreciate the offer of any thoughts, suggestions or clues.

We are using PowerBuilder 8.02. SQL Server 2K. M$ Win 2003 Server.

Does it display out of the CITRIX environment? We had issues where CITRIX
was cutting off a portion of the screen, can't remember if it was top or
bottom, but a line or two was physically missing.

Thanks for the Insight. I will investigate the possibility.
Yes all works as designed outside of the Citrix environment.

Citrix is a love hate for me, i love it cause you can get so many users on
one server, but man after 50 users performance sucks, how about for you? How
many users you get on a citrix box?

Thanks to Jim Douglas for the tip. Not exactly the issue. However when
we changed the resolution of the session we found the datawindow.

Turns out that if we up the screen resolution and set
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics "Border Width"
to 0 or 1 then all is well.

I am glad to help, I guess we are the only two users in the world using PB
and CITRIX!

Not so. We have a few legacy PB systems running in Citrix in our shop too.
I suspect there are more 'closet' Citrix/PB users out there, too.

Mostly our PB apps were essentially fixed and working for a couple of years
before moving to the Citrix environment compliments of our parent company.
Most of the issues that arose were ones they have battled before, so we were
spared the troubleshooting. IOW, 'fraid I couldn't have helped.

Cheers
Gary

.... and Yes, performance does suffer, especially when various users are on
two coasts..
