Getting Field type

Hello friends,
I am using ODAC for Oracle and ADO for MS Access. Actually program which I am writing copies tables from both oracle to MS access and MS A. to Oracle.

Before copying table it must convert field types. For example varchar to text. Problem is how to recognize type of field being copied:whether it is varchar or integer etc.

Actually I want to use OraQuery and ADOQuery. But I don't know the SQL code retrievs me the type of defined field.

Please help how to get info. about field or get field type.
