hello,
I just installed swi and i get a bus error when i try to run /opt/
local/lib/swipl-5.6.52/bin/i386-darwin9.2.0/xpce or swipl. Am I doing
something wrong?

Well, if you do not tell us what you did, it is hard to tell. Does it
crash at startup, or running some of your code? Did you install using
the binary installer or from source through Macports? In first case we
are probably faced with some incompatibility between the MacOS version
used to compile SWI-Prolog and yours. The SWI-Prolog mailinglist is a
more promising place to find support. If this is the setting, installing
from source is likely to help.

I installed it from a .mpkg file from the swi website.
It crashes on startup, only saying 'bus error'.
I realized I installed the wrong version, the one for os x 10.5, but
when I install the right version, the one for 10.4, I still get the
same error.
How do I remove it to do a clean install>
