Apart from general (Prolog system independent) advice, what are
you looking for specifically and for which system ?

How do you know that he is asking how to optimize Prolog code? He
can be also asking how to write Prolog code that optimizes
something.

The difficult art of asking questions is somehow gone....

And what about the difficult art of understanding questions ?

;-)

Well... "Reading between words"?... I don't do this for free. I
charge 300 bucks per hour :)

There are sevaral ways to handle some predicates.
eg. to use either tail recursion or extra argument etc.

So my question is which stuctures or aproches should
the programmer prefer to get solution in minimum
time and memory ?

Michael D. Kersey mentioned is one of the link that I want.
(Thank you Michael D. Kersey)

Sorry, in my previous message, I forgot to mention the system .
I use SWI-prolog and GNU-prolog.

Also sorry for the late feedback. Here in India we face some
technical problems in dial-up networking.

Your answer should be "HOW TO OPTIMIZE PROLOG CODE". Is this that
hard to ask proper question?...

There is a big question about A.L.

Why does A.L. post replies which dosn't produce anything ?

or asking how to optimise a Prolog interpreter.

Indeed.

This is my hobby. The same as yours - asking questions that ask
about nothing.
